Clive Barker's Birthday and My Book
Another week, another 5 things to share.
The weeks are flying by, at least for me. I’m deep into writing, so I don’t have much time for anything else, but here are 5 things I thought were worth sharing.
It was Clive Barker’s birthday on October 5, and here is a picture of my collection of his books. I’m missing a few important ones, but I’m happy with what I have. He was a huge influence on me as a queer writer growing up. (If you look closely, you’ll see one of my books.)
I updated the preview of the first chapter of Eternal King Me (working title). If you haven’t read it, you can do so HERE. I would love some feedback.
Here is a brief update about the book as I close in on finishing the beta draft.
While I was writing, I created a Spotify Playlist with some fun new songs.
This blog post by Austin Kleon made me feel better about my books being hard to summarize.
